Staying home, for as long as possible
Sérénité chez soi began from a simple conviction: most people want to grow old in their own home, surrounded by what they know. Our job is to make that possible a little longer.
Our approach
Staying at home rarely comes down to dramatic gestures. It comes down to a warm meal, a clear floor, someone noticing that a person is eating less than before. Those details are the difference between staying home and having to leave.
We work on one principle: the person being helped decides. We adapt to their habits, their pace and their way of doing things — not the other way round. A visit ends when the work is done, not when a timer goes off.
We work alongside the public system. If the CLSC is already involved, so much the better — we fill the gaps rather than replace it. And if we are not the right service for a situation, we say so and point you to the right resource.

Our commitments
You meet the caregiver first
Nobody enters your home before you have met and approved them. If it is not the right fit, we change — no discussion needed.
The price is agreed upfront
The hourly rate, travel and minimum visit length are stated before the first visit. No charges appear afterwards.
Nothing is decided without you
Neither the family nor we decide on your behalf. As long as the person is able to choose, the choice is theirs.
We say when it is no longer enough
If needs outgrow what home care can safely provide, we tell you plainly and help you find what comes next.
Area served
We work across Greater Montréal. If you are near the edge of our territory, call anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you properly.

Let’s talk it through
A call commits you to nothing. Tell us the situation and we will say honestly whether we can help — and if we cannot, who to turn to instead.
